PM PACKAGING (01820.HK) issues a profit warning: anticipates a net loss of no more than 20 million yuan in 2024.
Gelonghui March 5丨PM PACKAGING (01820.HK) announced that, based on the unaudited consolidated management accounts and the preliminary assessment currently available to the Board of Directors for the year ending December 31, 2024, the group is expected to record a net loss not exceeding RMB 20 million, compared to a net profit of approximately HKD 22 million for the year ending December 31, 2023. According to the directors' understanding, the transition from net profit to net loss is primarily due to (i) a decline in product unit prices; and (ii) the new production facilities in Huzhou and Wuhan, which have led to increased operating costs. Despite these circumstances, the Board of Directors expects that it will not impact the group.
