The Company was incorporated as a limited company in the Cayman Islands on January 30, 2009. The company's registered office address is Cricket Square, Hutchins Drive, P.O. Box 2681, Grand Cayman, KY1-1111, Cayman Islands. The Company and its subsidiaries (the “Group”) are mainly engaged in the production and supply of ethylene oxide (“ethylene oxide”), ethylene glycol (“ethylene glycol”), polypropylene (“polypropylene”), methyl tert-butyl ether (“methyl tert-butyl ether”) and surfactants in China. The Group also provides processing services for polypropylene, methyl tert-butyl ether and surfactants to its customers in China, as well as the production and supply of other chemical products, including carbon-4, raw pentene and industrial gases (i.e. oxygen, nitrogen and argon). Ethylene oxide is the main intermediary component in the production of ethylene-derived products. Ethylene-derived products include ethanolamine and ethylene glycol ether, as well as various types of surfactants. Ethylene glycol is a semi-finished product used to produce other bioorganic chemical products, such as ethylene glycol used to produce polyester and antifreeze chemical liquids. Polypropylene is a thermoplastic resin that can be used in knitted products, injection molded products, film products, fiber products, pipes, etc. Surfactants are widely used as refining agents, wetting agents, emulsifiers and solubilizers in different industries. Methyl tert-butyl ether is a gasoline additive used as an oxidizing compound that increases the octane number, and is used almost entirely as a fuel component of gasoline engine fuel.
