Gelonghui reported on March 14 that China Graphite (02237.HK) announced that a Board of Directors meeting will be held on March 26, 2025 (Wednesday), to consider and approve the group's full-year performance for the year ending December 31, 2024, and its release, as well as to consider the distribution of the final dividend (if any).
China Graphite (02237.HK) warns of profit: expects a post-tax net loss of no more than 14 million yuan in 2024.
On March 14, Glonhui announced that China Graphite (02237.HK) expects to record a net loss after tax of no more than 14 million yuan for the entire year of 2024, while the net profit after tax for the year ending December 31, 2023 ("the entire year of 2023") is about 21.3 million yuan. The Board of Directors believes that the above is mainly due to the slowdown in growth of the anode industry in the downstream market and intense competition in the graphite market for the entire year of 2024, leading to further declines in the sales prices of the group's graphite products and the sales volume of spherical graphite compared to the entire year of 2023, resulting in a decrease in the group's revenue and profit.
