Baoye Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1974. Formerly known as the “Shaoxing County Yangxunqiao People's Commune Construction Service Team”, it became the first comprehensive private construction enterprise listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on June 30, 2003 (02355.HK). It is the recipient of the National May 1st Labor Award, the National Housing Industrialization Base, and owns the National Construction Engineering and Housing Industrialization Research Institute of the National Construction Engineering Technology Research Center. Today, Baoye is no longer Baoye of Baoye, but Baoye, which is a shareholder of Baoye stock in the world. Famous international capital and industrial investors such as Goldman Sachs, Tiger Fund, HSBC Securities, JP Morgan, Value, Xijing Investment, and Yamato Housing have successively become shareholders and partners of Baoye; it has been ranked among the top 500 taxpayers of all enterprise groups in China announced by the State Administration of Taxation for many years. The company is mainly engaged in the three major businesses of building construction, real estate development, and housing industrialization (research and manufacture of century-old low-carbon industrial housing), and invests in hotels, golf, tourism and other industries. By integrating the Anhui Tractor Factory and 12 enterprises belonging to the Hubei Provincial Construction Administration, it has successfully laid out the three major regional markets of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui, and Hubei. Over the past ten years, the company has focused on energy-saving and environmentally friendly housing industrialization. It has independently developed three systems of century-old low-carbon industrial housing with various specifications, which have been widely used in domestic and foreign markets, and pioneered the low-carbon economic concept promoted by the Copenhagen Conference. Looking forward to the future, the company will continue to focus on the core corporate culture of “enterprise, market, and society” and contribute its part to transforming and upgrading the traditional construction industry so that the industrialization of housing can truly become another new advanced manufacturing industry after automobiles and home appliances.
