They sell their products to the automotive, infrastructure, construction, electrical appliances, machinery, equipment and transportation industries. The dual carbon target (that is, carbon peak before 2030 and carbon neutrality before 2005) has brought global impetus to the transformation of our downstream steel manufacturing industry from blast furnace steelmaking to electric arc furnace steelmaking. In recent years, blast furnace steelmaking still dominates steel manufacturing, accounting for about 70% of the world, and even about 90% in China. In terms of pollutant emissions and energy consumption, the use of electric arc furnaces is more environmentally friendly, and they are considered the core pillar of decarbonization to complete “ultra-low emission” transformation within the steel industry. We are committed to providing high-quality ultra-high power graphite electrodes as a key industrial material for electric arc furnace steelmakers, and are constantly striving for cleaner production processes to reduce emissions and waste and energy consumption. We believe that together with our downstream customers, we can contribute to a long-term green and sustainable economy. We have production facilities in Italy and China, with an actual annual production capacity of 46,000 metric tons, so we can flexibly meet the needs of customers around the world for graphite electrodes and provide them with support and technical services. We have a regional sales team focusing on the American, EMEA, Asia Pacific and Chinese markets to serve and support customers in various regions. The global coverage of a strong sales and distribution network ensures that products are supplied to customers at any time. In view of the potential growth in the lithium-ion battery graphite anode material market and taking advantage of Europe's first-mover advantage, our anode production facility in Italy held a groundbreaking ceremony in mid-April 2024. Through our strategic investment, we are striving to establish cutting-edge anode production technology that matches Chinese technology. Our strategic investment is not limited to the production of graphite anode materials in Europe, but also includes the development of silicon-based anode materials in China, so that we can be part of the next generation graphite anode material production technology.
