Chongqing Machinery Unit to Buy Gear and Shaft Component Firm
CHONGQING M&E (02722.HK) intends to acquire 100% of the equity of Chongqing Panlian Transmission for 35.6212 million yuan.
On February 27, Gelonghui reported that CHONGQING M&E (02722.HK) announced that on February 27, 2025, the Machine Tool Group (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) signed an Equity Transfer agreement with the Assets Company (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company's major Shareholder). According to this agreement, the Machine Tool Group agrees to acquire and the Assets Company agrees to sell its 100% equity in the target company, CHONGQING PANLIAN TRANSMISSION Technology Co., Ltd., for a price of 35.6212 million RMB. CHONGQING M&E (02722.HK): Yufu Holdings will increase its capital in CHONGQING M&E Group with a consideration of 5 billion yuan.
On February 26, Grandview announced that CHONGQING M&E (02722.HK) received a notice from its controlling shareholder, CHONGQING M&E Group, regarding (i) Yufu Holdings will increase capital for CHONGQING M&E Group with an investment of 5000 million yuan, including Cash and non-Cash assets, after the completion of the capital increase, Yufu Holdings will hold approximately 44.58% equity in CHONGQING M&E Group; and (ii) The Chongqing State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission approved the free transfer of 35.42% equity held in CHONGQING M&E Group to Yufu Holdings. After the internal restructuring is completed, Yufu Holdings will hold 80% equity in CHONGQING M&E Group.
