Tianjin Port Development Holdings Limited was listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on May 24, 2006 (stock code: 03382). The Group began operating as a bulk cargo terminal at Tianjin Port in 1968, then expanded to container handling business in 1980. In February 2010, the Group completed the acquisition of 56.81% interest in Tianjin Port Co., Ltd. Currently, the Group is the main port operator at Tianjin Port, mainly engaged in container and bulk cargo handling business, sales business and port supporting service business. The Group has advanced container terminals, specialized coke terminals, specialized coal terminals, specialized ore terminals and specialized Ro-Ro terminals, and 0.3 million-ton crude oil terminals. Tianjin Port is located at the confluence of the Beijing-Tianjin Urban Belt and the Bohai Rim Economic Zone. It is one of the most fully functional coastal ports and terminals. It is the largest comprehensive port in northern China and an important foreign trade port. Its services span 14 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions of China, and it is a link connecting Northeast Asia with Central and Western Asia.
