Grain 13th of November, Royal Deluxe (03789.HK) announced that the company is expected to record a loss attributable to owners of the company of approximately 4.8 million to 9.8 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending September 30, 2024, compared to a profit attributable to owners of the company of approximately 7.6 million Hong Kong dollars in the same period last year. The board of directors believes that the above-mentioned shift from profit to loss is mainly due to (1) revaluation resulting in impairment loss provisions for rights of use assets and leasehold land and buildings under property, plant, and equipment; (2) delays in progress due to changes in subcontracting agreements in certain projects, resulting in additional costs; and (3) a major subcontract.
