CNOOC Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (“CNOOC Petrochemical”, “the Company” or “we”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”, stock code: 3983) is China's largest central enterprise fertilizer producer and leading methanol producer. CNOOC Petrochemical is headquartered in Beijing, and its production facilities are located in Hainan, Hubei and Heilongjiang provinces in China. The total design capacity is 1.84 million tons of urea, 1 million tons of phosphorus compound fertilizer, 1.4 million tons of methanol, and 270,000 tons of acrylonitrile series products. On September 29, 2006, CNOOC Petrochemical was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited (“Hong Kong Stock Exchange”). CNOOC Petrochemical is one of the largest listed companies producing chemical fertilizer and methanol in China. As a subsidiary of CNOOC Group Co., Ltd. (“CNOOC”), CNOOC's favorable conditions have laid a solid foundation for the rapid development of its fertilizer and chemical business.
