Shandong Port Rizhao Port Jurong Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jurong Company”) was established on March 17, 2011. It is the first Sino-foreign joint venture terminal handling company in Rizhao Port of Shandong Port. It was listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in June 2019 (stock code: 6117.HK). It mainly engages in terminal service services for food, wood chips, etc., and extended services such as railway freight forwarding. The imported grain throughput has exceeded 10 million tons for two consecutive years. It has 9 productive berths, 1 0.15 million-ton general-purpose berth, 2 special 0.1 million-ton grain berths, and 4 dedicated 0.07 million-ton wood chip berths. It has a dual-line cargo unloading capacity of 3,000 tons/hour, a storage yard of 0.915 million square meters, and a maximum storage capacity of 1.37 million tons. Among them, there are 80 silos, with a storage capacity of 0.467 million tons; a special wood chip storage site of 0.1 million square meters, with a storage capacity of 0.35 million tons. There are 2 automated loading lines for the bulk grain train. The railway has a daily evacuation capacity of 0.015 million tons and an annual shipping capacity of 3.85 million tons. It is the only coastal port in the country with two 1,000-kilometer transit railways (Wari Railway and Xinhe-Yanri Railway) directly connected to the port area. Relying on the Shandong port integrated reform and development platform, Jurong Company serves a deep and vast hinterland, with strong transportation demand, efficient and convenient collection and evacuation, covering the vast central and western regions from Shandong to northern Jiangsu, Henan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Sichuan. The radiation area exceeds 3 million square kilometers, the radiation population exceeds 1/3 of the country's total population, and has established stable business relationships with more than 100 key customers, including domestic central enterprises, the four major international food merchants, and high-quality private enterprises.
