On August 21st, Hang Tai Yue Group (08081.HK) announced that the group expects to incur a loss of no less than 23 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ended June 30, 2024, while recording a profit of approximately 46.664 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ended June 30, 2023. This is mainly due to the group recognizing revenue of approximately 72.145 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ended June 30, 2023, as the group deemed the disposal of a wholly-owned subsidiary, Tracoin Information Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., on May 31, 2023. There is no such transaction for the six months ended June 30, 2024.
