We mainly design and manage tailor-made medical and/or dental benefit plans for contract customers, providing corporate medical and dental solutions to contract customers (which mainly include insurance companies and enterprises in terms of revenue), providing different combinations of medical and/or dental services to plan members (including contract clients' members and employees) through the MedicalExchange network, and operating medical exchange centers and dental clinics to provide services for plan members and self-funded patients (generally patients who go to medical exchange centers and/or dental clinics and pay their own expenses). As of the last practical date, the Medicare Network includes: (i) The two MedicalExchange Centres operated by the Group in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui respectively are provided with a range of medical services for scheme members and patients at their own expense (please refer to the section “Medical and Dental Services Provided through the MedicalExchange Network” below in this section for details); (ii) At our five dental clinics operating in Causeway Bay, Central, Kwun Tong, Mongkok and Tsim Sha Tsui, the dentists and dental hygienists provide a range of dental services for program members and patients at their own expense (please refer to the section “Medical and dental services provided through the MedicalExchange Network” below in this section for details); (iii) 391 contact doctors work at 361 affiliated clinics located in various districts of Hong Kong.
