Lai Group (08455.HK) announced that based on the information currently available to the group management, the total estimated contract amount of projects awarded to the group in July and August 2024 is expected to decrease by approximately 40% compared to July and August 2023. The board of directors believes that this decrease is mainly due to the overall economic downturn during the period and the intense market competition, which have led to a reduction in the awarded renovation projects.
