Sunray Eng Gp (08616.HK) announced on June 24th that the Group is expected to record a net loss of no more than 1 million Hong Kong dollars in the 2024 fiscal year, while the net profit for the year ended March 31, 2023 is about 5.5 million Hong Kong dollars. The expected net loss in the 2024 fiscal year is mainly attributed to the following comprehensive impacts: (i) a reduction of at least 20% in revenue from providing building protection projects and supplying building protection products in the 2024 fiscal year compared to the same period in 2023; and (ii) an increase in financial costs due to the rise in bank loan interest rates.
