Sumitomo Corporation <8053.T> announced on the 17th that it has agreed to establish a joint venture company "Mori Sora Biorefinery LLC" with Nippon Paper Industries <3863.T> and Green Earth Institute (GEI, Shinjuku, Tokyo) for the "manufacture and sale of bioethanol and biochemical products made from woody biomass."
