Naive investors react based on QR projected in chart from apps and sold the shares based on that. Smart investors will not take the short cut but to be hardworking by taking the hassle to read the whole QR report in details. If you read carefully, the previous good QR profit of 15.8% is due to MPI one off profit because of reversal of executive share options provision. If you remove that the one off profit from the last QR, and minus the one off forex loss for current QR, the core profit of MPI is breaking new high.

You add foreign loss into net income and turn it into “record high”? You don’t just reverse the negative sign to positive sign and claim a company can make that much money. If MPI did not have a foreign loss, its profit for the period is only 40m. Compare to corresponding period last year it was higher, but not a “record high” if track back to its past record.
