Signpost <3996.T> has continued to rise for three days, reaching a temporary high of 476 yen, up 21 yen. After the market close on the 14th, the profit forecast for the fiscal year ending February 2025 was revised upward, which was well received. In the earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending February 2025, revenue was lowered from 3.269 billion yen to 3 billion yen (a 2.4% increase year-on-year), but operating profit was raised from 1.32 billion yen to 1.7 billion yen (a 67.1% increase). Revenue in the consulting business showed a slight increase compared to the previous term, but was adjusted compared to the initial plan for the term.
Signpost---Aiming for a rebound assuming a breakout of the 75-day line.
The rebound from the recent low of 386 yen set on December 24 of last year is continuing, with the 25-day moving average acting as a Resistance line at the moment. On the other hand, the price is being capped by the 75-day moving average, and if it clearly breaks above that line, the rebound trend is likely to strengthen. According to the Ichimoku cloud, there is a struggle at the lower limit of the cloud, but the Chikou Span is crossing above the solid line, raising awareness of a potential upward signal.
A stance aiming for a short-term rebound.
[Stocks Opening Comments] The Japanese stock market on the 15th is likely to see a self-correction rebound, despite being unstable, in response to the substantial decline on the previous day. On the 14th, the US market saw the Dow Jones Industrial Average rise by 221 points, while the Nasdaq fell by 43 points. The wholesale price index (PPI) for December in the USA came in below expectations, easing concerns over excessive inflation. Although there was some stagnation ahead of the bank earnings reports and the December consumer price index (CPI) announcement in the USA, the Dow Jones Industrial Average finished with continued gains.
