The performance report for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025 announced by Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> showed that revenue decreased by 0.2% compared to the same period last year to 597.93 billion yen, while operating profit increased by 0.1% to 191.023 billion yen. Operating profit and ordinary profit were almost the same as the same period last year.
