A retrofitted anti-intrusion fence has been donated to the port facilities in Yokosuka City.
On January 16, 2025, a product news press release from LIXIL (hereinafter referred to as LIXIL) announced the donation of an anti-slip prevention fence to the port facilities in Yokosuka City, Japan. This donation was made based on the new standards for protective fences in ports established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and the Japan Port Association, as a measure against slip-through for the existing protective fences at the Heisei area 8 revetment (near Umikaze Park). The high-grid fence was donated to Yokosuka City in December 2024.
