The predecessor of the company was a listed company founded exclusively by Jiangnan Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., with its steel structure mechanical engineering division as the main body, and established in 1997 through social recruitment. At the end of 2016, the company completed the reform and restructuring and changed its name to China Shipbuilding Technology Co., Ltd. The company's main business mainly includes wind power-related business integrating fan manufacturing and development, rolling development of wind power resources, development of fan supporting equipment, engineering design and service, and general engineering contracting, design consulting and investigation, and ship support. Corporate honors: The three projects of “Information Management and Operation Cloud Platform for the Whole Industry Chain of Lifting and Transportation Equipment”, “A Retaining Method for the Rear Landing of a High-Pile Beam Plate Wharf”, and “Environmentally Friendly Integrated Carbon Dioxide Protection Welding Gun” each received the Outstanding Invention Award “Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award”; 6 invention patents were awarded by frontline employees of the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions.
