China East Air's passenger turnover in June increased by 27.73% year-on-year.

China Eastern Airlines (00670) announced that with the approaching peak season of civil aviation in China, travel demand for business, tourism, and student holidays will increase significantly, and the company actively arranged capacity production for the peak season in July and August based on the characteristics of the summer market. In June, the company's passenger transport capacity (calculated by available seat kilometers) increased by 16.27% year-on-year, reaching 108.24% of the same period in 2019; passenger turnover (calculated by passenger kilometers) increased by 27.73% year-on-year, reaching 109.09% of the same period in 2019; and the passenger load factor was 83.44%, up 7% year-on-year.
