The company is located in Jiaxing, on the Hangjiahu Plain in northern Zhejiang. The predecessor of Minfeng, “Hefeng Paper Company”, was founded in 1923 by Mr. Chu Fucheng, a famous patriot from Jiaxing. She is one of the earliest national paper companies in China. In 1930, Hefeng Paper Company was reorganized, and industrial capitalist Zhu Mei first took over Hefeng Paper Company and changed its name to “Minfeng Paper Co., Ltd.” The place of registration is in Shanghai, and the “Ship” brand product trademark was registered in the same year. The trade name continues to this day. The company's initial products were mainly white cardboard, green and gray cardboard, and yellow cardboard. Since the reform and opening up, Minfeng has focused on improving economic efficiency and actively promoted the reform of state-owned enterprises.
