Southwest initiates buy rating on China Longyuan with a target price of 8.52 HKD.
Southwest Securities released a research report stating that it initiated coverage on China Longyuan Power (00916) and rated it as a buy. The company is expected to achieve a net income attributable to shareholders of 7.34/8.41/9.65 billion yuan and an EPS of 0.88/1.01/1.15 yuan respectively from 2024 to 2026, with a target price of HKD8.52. The reasons for recommendation are 1) the state council has taken multiple measures to assist the consumption of green electricity, and the perfect price mechanism is expected to ensure reasonable income for green power companies; 2) abundant reserves of resources, in 2024-2025, is expected to see a production peak, with 7.5GW and 11.5GW production respectively, and 21 of the National Energy Group.
