News reported that Foxconn's subsidiary Xinsheng Technology plans to invest 80 million US dollars to build a factory in Vietnam.
Fujifilm's parent company, Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd., plans to invest $80 million through its subsidiary ShunSin Technology to expand its business in Vietnam. According to a document from the Vietnamese Ministry of Environment, ShunSin Technology plans to establish a factory in Bac Giang Province focused on producing integrated circuits. The factory is expected to start full operation in December 2026, with a target of producing 4.5 million integrated circuits per year. The products manufactured at this factory will mainly be exported to the USA, EU, and Japan. Prior to this new investment, Hon Hai had already approved an investment of $0.383 billion in July to build another printed circuit board factory in Vietnam.
