The company was restructured and established by the Qinghai Dachai Danxi Tieshan Mining Administration. It is headquartered in Xining City, Qinghai Province, and was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on July 12, 2007. It has more than 30 (branch) subsidiaries and holding companies in 11 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions across the country. Its business scope covers mining, non-ferrous smelting, finance and trade, salt lake chemicals, etc. The company is mainly engaged in the selection, smelting, and trading of basic non-ferrous metals and ferrous metals such as copper, lead, zinc, iron, etc., as well as the production and sale of rare precious metals such as molybdenum, nickel, vanadium, gold, silver, etc., and products such as sulfur concentrate, and is also involved in the salt lake chemical industry. The company's main mining products include copper concentrate, zinc concentrate, lead concentrate, iron powder, pellets, etc.; the main smelting products include electrolytic copper, zinc ingots, electric lead, etc.; the main products of Salt Lake Chemical include high-purity magnesium hydroxide, high-purity magnesium oxide, and anhydrous hydrofluoric acid.
