The company was founded in 1988 in Shekou, Shenzhen. It is the first joint stock insurance company in China. With the support of various levels of government and regulatory authorities, customers and all sectors of society, Ping An of China has grown into one of the comprehensive financial groups with the most complete domestic financial licenses and the widest range of business, and is committed to becoming a leading international provider of comprehensive financial and medical care services. Through a multi-channel distribution network, the company uses its subsidiaries such as Ping An Life Insurance, Ping An Industrial Insurance, Ping An Pension Insurance, Ping An Health Insurance, Ping An Bank, Ping An Trust, Ping An Asset Management and Ping An Financial Leasing to operate financial business, and uses member companies such as Lujin Holdings, Financial One Account, Ping An Health, and Auto Home to create a financial enabling ecosystem to provide customers with a variety of financial products and services.
