The second quarter results for the fiscal year ending March 2025, announced by Esteel (7872), show a revenue of 14.9 billion 33 million yen, a decrease of 0.8% compared to the same period last year, and an operating loss of 0.3 billion 17 million yen (compared to a loss of 0.3 billion 65 million yen in the same period last year). In the jewelry segment, efforts were made to strengthen communication with customers through initiatives like the 70th anniversary campaign and to enhance human resource development, but the impact on the jewelry segment remained limited in scope. In the eyeglass segment, the in-store initiatives are being implemented.
