On December 19, 2024, Japan's NEC completed the Construction of the large-capacity optical submarine cable "Asia Direct Cable (ADC)" connecting China, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, and handed it over to the ADC consortium (Note 1).
