The company is a joint stock enterprise owned by CRRC. Its predecessor and parent company, CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute Co., Ltd. was founded in 1959. The company took root in Zhuzhou, followed the two rails, and successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited on December 20, 2006. On September 7, 2021, it was successfully listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
