Short-Term Rally in the Yen
The yen has been on a big rally for over a month now. This is mostly due to the expectation that the Fed will stop cutting interest rates. Ueda also hinted towards the idea of increasing interest rates in his previous comments. This would add strength to the yen. But I won't believe it until I actually see it.

The CPI reading was the final push the market needed to fall back into a bull market. Yields are tanking with the dollar. This is bullish for equities in the "bad news is good news environment," equities are ripping, and gold is tagging along. I think it is safe to say that things are looking very bullish. Macro Update
Over the weekend, the Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda said that the central bank could end its negative interest rate policy when the 2% inflation target is sustainability achieved.
