SpyderCall OP AuthPresidentColor8c : Right. I was wondering how their equities are going to perform once the policy actually changes. Higher interest rates should put pressure on equities.
But the Japanese government was talking about progressively increasing everybodies income gradually over time. This will surely be good for consumption and inflation. That should give a boost certain equities.
I guess we are just going to have to wait longer to find out.

SpyderCall OP razo2 : Of course those tricky MMs don't want to pay anybody. Especially on mid month expirations. Usually there is a little volatility around those expiration dates.
It is possible we might see a bit more volatility today, Wednesday, or Friday. Wednesday is the official monthly expiration but sometimes the rollover can happen before or after, like on a Friday.
But it is a possibility that investors might have already rotated their contracts. After a crazy rally like we have seen, it makes me think a lot of capital has already moved around. So then the volatility might be just like any normal day.

razo2 OP williamlow85 : look at the dot plot. also listen to the FOMC reporter questions. they are asking the same exact question we are seeing in oil.
when a federal chairman is scared to rate hike usually there is something that he knows is going to collapse. keep eyes on some banks. I will list them later.

razo2 OP williamlow85 : use the July as reference. is very important information if you compare July against this FOMC dot plot. you will notice two things. the fed member are more firmed about 2024. second there is no rate cut till end of 2024.
