Yamaha Motor Starts Efforts Towards Merger Of LLV Subsidiary
Regarding the transfer of business functions and commencement of merger discussions at Yamaha Motor Power Products' LLV business.
Yamaha Motor Power Products Co., Ltd. (YMPC), a consolidated subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Co., mainly engages in the development, manufacturing, and sales of golf carts, land leisure vehicles (LLVs), etc. located in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Yamaha Motor Co. has begun considering a merger with YMPC, with the aim of completing the merger by January 2027. Prior to this, the business functions related to LLVs at YMPC, including development, business planning, product planning, sales, service, etc., will be integrated in 2025.
