Hawksley's <7561> business performance: 1. Performance overview for the fiscal year ending March 2024: Sales revenue increased 31.3% from the previous year to ¥46,761 million, operating profit increased 66.8% to ¥2,436 million, ordinary profit increased 63.9% to ¥2,588 million, and net income attributable to parent company shareholders increased 52.8% to ¥1,601 million, showing significant growth. Sales revenue increased in all three businesses. The logistics and food processing business achieved the highest sales growth.

Ready-to-Eat Business (Delicatessen/Boxed meals) (1) Recent trends The recent trends in the Ready-to-Eat Business (Delicatessen/Boxed meals) for the past five periods have been challenging due to the decrease in large orders due to events, intensifying competition from supermarkets and restaurants, and increasing demand for home-cooked meals due to telecommuting caused by the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Revenue gradually decreased from JPY 1,796.3 million in March 2020. Harksley <7561> actively responds to delivery needs.

Business Overview 1. The takeout lunch business of the food service business is operated by "Hokka Hokka Tei," which promotes "faster cooking." In addition to selling takeout lunches and delicatessen, the catering business responds to various demands such as parties, events, and ceremonies. We continue to provide stable supply and safe and secure food for consumers, including setting up a rice milling factory and a quality control research institute. "Hokka Hokka Tei" has 839 stores nationwide, with about 80% of them being franchise stores.
Monthly report on Huxley's ready-to-eat and bento meal business.
On the 7th, Haksley <7561> released its monthly report on its convenience store business, including ready-to-eat bento boxes sold nationwide at “Hokkahokka-tei”. The monthly report revealed that the total sales of all stores for this business line had increased by 100.6% compared to the same month of the previous year, and sales for existing stores had increased by 103.2%. As of July 2025, there were no store closures or openings, and the total number of stores was 841. The net increase or decrease in store numbers, obtained by subtracting store closures from store openings from April to July, was +2 this fiscal year, compared to last year.
Hawksley - in the first quarter, ordinary profit increased by two digits, and the expected cumulative operating profit for the second quarter was achieved in the first quarter.
Harcuslay <7561> announced its consolidated financial results for the first quarter of the 2025 fiscal year (April-June 24) showing a 4.2% decrease in revenue to 10.664 billion yen from the same period last year, an increase in operating profit by 49.9% to 0.7 billion yen, an increase in ordinary profit by 17.1% to 0.717 billion yen, and a 6.4% decrease in net profit attributable to the parent company's shareholders to 0.482 billion yen. Its food service business had revenue of 4.16 billion yen (an increase of 0.3% from the same period last year) and an operating loss of 0.034 billion yen (compared to 0.054 billion yen in the same period last year).
