Dai Nippon Printing and Yokohama National University developed a "hydrogen detection system" that can detect hydrogen leaks.
On the 25th, Dai Nippon Printing <7912.T> announced that it has developed a "Hydrogen Detection System" in collaboration with Yokohama National University, which detects hydrogen leaks by combining a hydrogen detection membrane that changes electrical resistance in response to hydrogen and RFID (IC tags). The developed system consists of hydrogen detection Sensors affixed to parts where hydrogen is likely to leak, such as piping joints in hydrogen production plants and hydrogen stations, and antennas for sending and receiving radio waves. When reacting with hydrogen, the electrical resistance changes inside the Sensor.
