On the 11th, local time, President Trump announced that starting March 12, a 25% tariff would be imposed on steel and aluminum products without exception. Amid concerns about the impact of tariffs on the global economy, the Dow Inc continued to rise while the Nasdaq Composite Index fell back, showing mixed results.
The Nikkei average rose by 14 points, making a slight rebound, while the TOPIX continued to decline, resulting in a mixed performance on the 10th afternoon session.
