Hosting the global IT conference in 2024.
On November 29, 2024, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'the Company'), held a global IT conference in mid-November to promote DX strategy and enhance security. The conference welcomed a group of 21 IT/DX experts from 11 key countries/regions of the Company's global network, who visited Japan. The attendees included the Company's CIO (Chief Information Officer), the Digitalization Strategy Group, and Keylay, the Company's IT subsidiary.

Completion of the "PONTUS HIGHWAY", a LNG fuel automobile carrier with a capacity of 7,000 vehicles.
On November 28, 2024, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. announced that the "PONTUS HIGHWAY", a 7,000-vehicle capacity automobile carrier ship being built at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. and powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), was completed and delivered to Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. This vessel, named "PONTUS HIGHWAY", is a sister ship to the one completed in August, the "NEREUS HIGHWAY". LNG fuel produces lower greenhouse gas emissions compared to traditional heavy oil fuel.
Support for damage caused by continuous typhoons in the Philippines.
On November 27, 2024, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. reported that six typhoons (Hurricanes No. 20 to No. 25) made consecutive landfalls in the Philippines from October to November, causing extensive damage across various regions. Sincere condolences are extended to those who lost their lives due to the disaster, and heartfelt sympathy is offered to all affected individuals. Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. aims to assist in the relief of those impacted and in the recovery and reconstruction of the disaster areas, through our business partners in the Philippines.
Automobile and maritime department to hold a global conference.
On November 27, 2024, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") held the 'Automobile Shipping Division Global Conference' at the Company's headquarters in mid-November. The conference welcomed 26 national staff and employees from the 5 main overseas locations for 3 days from November 11th to 13th, with sales and strategy sessions, and for 2 days on November 14th and 15th, with separate operation and trucking quality sessions, for discussions. In the sales and strategy session, the main overseas locations were discussed.
