JAL has obtained IATA CEIV Lithium Batteries certification.
JAL participated in a Community hosted by Narita International Airport and obtained certification for the quality assurance program for air transportation of Lithium Batteries established by IATA (International Air Transport Association), "CEIV Lithium Batteries (The Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Lithium Batteries)" on February 7, 2025. JAL has started offering premium benefits through a status match with the members-only luxury hotel reservation app "HoteLux."
JAL has partnered with the exclusive hotel reservation app "HoteLux," which allows members to book over 4,000 luxury hotels worldwide and ryokans across Japan at special prices. Beginning February 14, 2025 (Friday), status matching for "HoteLux" membership will be provided. As a result of this partnership, JAL Life Status program members with eligible Star grade will be able to receive benefits on "HoteLux."
