Softbank's recent quarterly loss stokes concerns about Vision Fund venture portfolios' ongoing losses. Despite bullish sentiment on Arm's AI market positioning, the absence of a stock-repurchase program could negatively impact share prices.
Follow me on Moomoo to stay informed and connected! Arm Holdings IPO Arm Holdings recently initiated an IPO process, and it is expected to go public later this year. Currently, Arm Holdings is owned by Softbank Group (OTCPK:SFTBY), which will be the seller of its shares. Arm Holdings itself will not sell any shares to the public, meaning that it won't generate any new cash - instead, the proceeds will ultimately flow to Softbank, which will be able to mone...

$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$$SoftBank (9434.JP)$$SoftBank Group (ADR) (SFTBY.US)$ But Son and Arm’s AI promises may overstate the company’s potential, at least somewhat. Arm-based chips have appeared in some gadgets beyond smartphones and tablets, such as servers that are less power-hungry. But Arm said it does not make AI chips and is not a direct competitor to Nvidia and others that make chips that are purpose-built for AI. Nvidia’...

I agree with your analysis from a fundamental standpoint. Their cash burn rate however is hard to pinpoint because they may have to burn more later for upgrading.

yea the burn rate is a key figure to keep a close eyes on. recently Grab prepays $807 million in 2026 debt with extra cash, which looks like they are confident that they have enough cash. In a high interest rate environment, borrowing money to survive will be very very painful hope the next earning report, they will show us more cost cutting measures to protect their cash

Lucky they have lots of cash inside Grab Wallet. This helps to offset short term interest. Anyway the near term PT before earnings looks like it will hit 3.26 from a technical analysis. My core holdings has this at around 2.9 which I’ll keep until 2026
