Nintendo Co Ltd <7974> announced a revision of its financial estimates for the fiscal year ending March 2025. Revenue was revised downward from 1.35 trillion yen to 1.28 trillion yen, and operating profit was lowered from 400 billion yen to 360 billion yen. The main game console, Nintendo Switch, and software sales are declining. The sales plan for the Switch this fiscal year is reduced by 20% to 12.5 million units, and the number of Switch software sales is reduced by 20% to 1.06 billion units, each with a downward revision of 1 million units and 50 million units from the previous estimates, respectively.
