Apple Inc. clarified on Wednesday that the company has never sold data collected from its Siri voice assistant and has never used this data to create marketing profiles, just days after the company resolved a case facing such allegations. In this class-action lawsuit, plaintiffs accused the company of frequently recording their private conversations after they inadvertently activated Siri and disclosing these conversations to third parties, such as advertisers.
