狮城牧羊人 OP Rambu Tan : i am not questioning its existential state that data centers will be rendered redundant and facilitates made idling; but whether if these data centers will be able to generate sufficient revenue vis a vis DPU in view of a potential glut in supply.

To ensure more accurate and reliable results, it is essential to establish and maintain the processing of the teacher model which will still require large data center to support the operations

狮城牧羊人 OP cookie waffle : As I said I am not an AI expert so cannot make any claim basing on technical ground. Believe my question is just as valid as investors questioning Nvidia’s revenue potential now - it’s not whether Nvidia will continue to lead the development of AI but whether if it will be able to generate projected revenue on a lower demand. Similarly, AI cannot run without data centers but if demand is lowered then it will likely not enjoy a level of premium when supplies are in plentiful. no?

While I agree that demand fluctuations can impact both pricing and projected revenue, there are a few factors to consider…i think first need to acknowledge that Nvidia’s power or strength lies not only in its current leadership in AI stuff like hardware but also in its ability to innovate and diversify its product offerings they have, which could most likely sustain demand one even if growth slows in certain segments. Similarly, for AI and data centers, while the demand might stabilize, the industry’s ongoing expansion into new use cases such as edge computing, autonomous systems, and generative AI applications could help maintain the conpany values .
lastly, market dynamic include periods of adjustment, so comfirm this kind of news will temporarily affect pricing, but who knows i could be wrong too
