10baggerbamm : you know for you to say AMD is undervalued and Nvidia is overvalued I can prove to you that you're completely wrong in one word... MARGINS!
amd's margins are in the '50s and 60s and  margins with Blackwell will be in the 90s.. nvdia is trading at 22 times earnings 2025.
we're thinking about me AMD has different divisions that stink their PC gaming division is zero growth it is a disappointment every quarter they come out and they don't show any significant growth it's a lag it's a kick in the balls that division should be sold or closed down. the PC business is nothing to write home about. this is another disappointment it will have growth when the AI refresh cycle begins which is q1 next year so where is the growth going to be in personal computers or Blackwell in gaming graphic chips or Blackwell?
who has a 100% of their inventory pre-sold and it's on allocation meaning anybody that says we don't want this much or we're canceling there's people that will step up and buy everything you can start with Elon Musk he wanted to buy every Blackwell chip that they could manufacture right up front he said it. AMD is not in the same league.
the one advantage and I said this over the weekend that AMD has is what's called reversion to the mean that's it.
from its peak in July it's collapsed it has never rallied back remotely close in the interim Nvidia has set new I'm highs
so if there is another round of AI euphoria and I touched on this calling at the Santa Claus rally I said you could see I think I said 157 best case scenario on AMD short-term..
