10baggerbammOP MonkeyGee: oh you can look at charts in any configuration and come up with a potential downside demise. you also have to understand that new levels of support are developed after confirmation of earnings and that's why you have this triple threat that now exists within earnings you have the company's forecasted revenue they're forecasted earnings and then their forward guidance and then you have whisper numbers for all three so if you do not exceed The whisper numbers on all three you get taken out behind the barn and shot if you do it provides a new level of support along the way. all that being said you're absolutely correct if we had a global event occur let's just suppose that Israel took out the nuclear facilities in Iran blew them all to hell that would shake the markets probably four or five percent in a day it's good news but it's the potential for retaliation because China and Russia support Iran.. so if there were to be some event then you're absolutely right you can see how all stocks broke down on week of April 15th and broke every support level when we had that I ran Israel attack. Amazon could be 155 in a blink of an eye if there were to be some event that transpires on a global basis that has enormous potential ramifications in the gravest extreme scenario. so what would the logical response be if that were to happen well for me it would be by more because when I'm is on exceeded all estimates they're AWS is growing exponentially and every division is exceeding what all of these quote unquote experts said it was going to do then their valuation actually compresses if the stock stays at the same price they become cheaper relative to their earnings
