The South Korean police searched locations such as Woonan International Airport and the Jeju Air office as part of a series of actions on Thursday aimed at determining who is responsible for the serious aviation accident that occurred on Sunday. A spokesperson from the Jeollanam-do Police Agency stated over the phone that investigators began searching the Busan Regional Aviation Administration office located in Woonan County, Woonan International Airport, and the Jeju Air office in Seoul starting at 9 a.m. Previously, the police launched an independent investigation into Jeju Air's aviation accident. The flight data recorder of flight 2216 from Jeju Air was found on Sunday when the Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft was attempting an emergency landing.
