ChristInMe : when all I hear is how BoA has hundreds of millions of paper losses coming in to this earnings report, plus other banks holding up to if not more than 40% of the EverGrande failed RE loans that defaulted even on the interest since AT LEAST 2022, (maybe 2021) including JP Morgan, Bank of NY Mellon, CitiGroup, and other big name banks still holding those bags, it is a matter of when they report the losses to determine when they will crash. In my own opinion, I feel they will wait until quarter 2 or 3 to report these losses so that it falls on President Trump and not so obvious on President Biden since he allowed them to keep pushing it down the road, or to kick the can so to speak. I have no actual visual proof that can be shown here but I got plenty of articles and videos on these banks and their losses that verify the statements I am making. Put options for 6 months out is probably NOT a bad idea. As for the dip amount, I can't be certain but they have been throwing around the timeline of 1929 crash quite a bit in the recent months if you have been paying attention to the analysts. When have analysts been that far off? they can be off yes, but to say something of that magnitude, black swan events, they don't predict them, they create them.

RDK79 : when have banks lost money? have you seen credit card interest rates lately (even after 2024 fed rates lowered)????  have yiu seen big bank savings rates lately????
0hhhh… guess they were losing money around 2008 when tax payers bailed them out (oh, they woukdnt help mr on my mortgage loan…!!!).
