$Baidu(BIDU.US$ when people talk about $NVIDIA(NVDA.US$ the share price reflect nvdia future earning for the next 10 years. when it is baidu robotaxi suddenly it become robotaxi is only a very minor part of their revenue at the moment. nobody see e future earning potential if china give mass approval? china is a country with 1.4 billion population

$Baidu(BIDU.US$ very obvious which institution are e one shorting baidu base on the negative article that they keep releasing that makes zero sense. even have article stating that even if baidu is a us stock. it is still not recommended.
they just manage to reduce their vehicle cost by 60%. robotaxi has an average of 20 orders per day compared to a 13 for a manual driver. much lower labour cost compared to a driver.

Businesses are valued as the total discounted value of future cash flows (for simplification total of undiscounted cash in next 10y-20y, which currently for Baidu one year CF is 3bn) less net debt +20b (interest bearing liabilities (-10b) less cash (+30b)).
At current price levels, Baidu business is 'expected' to be worth 14b, plus 20b cash reserves.
Accordingly to valuation methods it should be 3bn (per year) x 10y = 30bn + 20bn net cash = 50...

$Baidu(BIDU.US$ continuing previous thread looks like Morgan Stanley is leading the crusade. Issuing lower and lower recommendations every month, making undermining statements opposite to general perception and falling out of line with all other analysts opinions/valuations.
It seems as a simple strategy. Issue some bad headlines, short a bit on a low liquid market and have algos sell off a bunch more automatically, maybe starting small panic.
