Bankrupt USA retailer Big Lots has been authorized to sell off 200 to 400 of its stores.
The USA-based home retailer Big Lots, which has gone bankrupt, received approval from a bankruptcy judge on Tuesday for a last-minute sale that will allow its 200 to 400 stores to continue operating under new ownership while retaining the Big Lots brand name. Big Lots filed for bankruptcy protection in September last year and sought to sell its Business to the private equity firm Nexus Capital.
