Although the price of pulp has dropped, it has not yet been reflected in the performance of paper companies. On July 20, Vida International (03331.HK) released the 2023 interim report. During the reporting period, it achieved revenue of HK$10.07 billion, up 10.1% year on year, up 4% year on year in HKD; recorded net profit of HK$121 million, a sharp decrease of 81.1% year on year, while net interest rate decreased by 5.4 percentage points to 1.2%. On the day the financial report was released, Vinda International opened low and went low, hitting an intraday low of HK$17.76 per share, closing at HK$18 per share, a decline of 1.32%.
