101652270 : Negative FCF, net margin and not profitable, better not to give ppl false hope
Rich365 OP : its not negative and there's no false hope.you must be one of those tools trying to short this.you still have some dummies waiting for this to still go under $2.you clearly no nothing about what soundhound is about.just how I told ppl to be patient and it'll be at least 10 bucks within a year.and that was just over a year ago.it went to 10 alright.it blew past that and kept going.need to learn fundamentals as well.
10baggerbamm : one has to be realistic.. there's no fundamental change in this company from when it was 9 to 10 dollars versus $20 today.
the chain of restaurants that they picked up a couple of weeks ago that has a thousand or 1100 locations I'm sure somebody will tell me the exact number is not a fork in the road for the company.
they still are not profitable they still are burning a lot of cash they still have a history of diluting shareholders and they still have a history of insiders selling rallies.
the valuation relative to sales is extremely high. if Nvidia were to trade at the multiple of revenues that this company does Nvidia would be hundreds and hundreds of percent higher in current price it would be a $4 trillion dollar plus market cap today probably $5 trillion and you have to excuse me it's early I'm only on my first cup of coffee I was up till the wee hours in the morning last night.
what has changed is this has become a momentum play that's it for whatever the reasons this is become a Wall Street darling and money is running into this company that's the only thing that has changed.
I'm not complaining I've been in the stock since the warrants for 20 cents and the common stock was under $2 a share I've traded it multiple times and I've left my profits in the company and if it turns out to be an 800 lb gorilla I'm going for the ride if they go to zero I've got a tax loss it makes no difference to me at this point.
but throwing numbers around saying it could be 30 or $40 it could be as well as it could be right back down to five or $6 and that's because there's no material change in the company they are not profitable and best case according to the CEO Kayvon it won't be best case until December 25 and for those that have been in this and listen to the CEO during the conference calls this company should have been profitable right now so they deferred profitability for another 12 months if you want to call it that.
Rich365 OP 10baggerbamm : and soundhounds biggest competition is who?
MarketMunch : Don’t bother the comments lol
