Geely Autos' subsidiary plans to establish a joint venture company to engage in intelligent driving Business.
Geely Autos (00175) announced that on March 2, 2025, Zhejiang Jirun (a subsidiary of the company), Liangjiang Industrial Fund, Chongqing Industrial Mother Fund, Chongqing Maichi, Lotus Technology Siasun Robot&Automation, Qianli Technology, and Jianghehui signed a framework agreement for a joint venture. The parties conditionally agree to establish a joint venture company to engage in autonomous driving business. After the completion of the transaction, the group, Chongqing Maichi, Qianli Partnership, Lotus Technology Siasun Robot&Automation, and the employee incentive platform will hold 30%, 30%, 30%, 5%, and 5% of the interests in the joint venture company, respectively. The announcement stated that the joint venture company will integrate the parties' resources in intelligent driving technology, R&D resources, and capital.
